The colourful Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has a wonderfully imaginative setting which recreates the atmosphere of the tropics, with sandy white beaches. There is a wide array of daytime entertainment for adults and children - from the three children's playgrounds, to hiring boats on the hotel's own lake. Food and fun activities are centred at the Old Port Royale which offers a lively shopping bazaar, games, and a range of dining options including a restaurant, bars and a self service food court. Accommodation is in six brightly-coloured 'island' villages, each named after a tropical island, and each with its own pool and sandy beach on the lake shore.

The hotel is comprised of five brightly- colored Caribbean "villages" named after the islands of Trinidad, Martinique, Barbados, Aruba, and Jamaica. Each village consists of two-story buildings blending cool pastel walls, white-wood railings, and vivid metal roofs. Villages feature swimming pools and playgrounds and offer chaise lounges, cabanas, and hammocks for sunbathing. The center of the resort is Old Port Royale, a shopping and dining area where stone walls, pirates' cannons and tropical birds create a Caribbean atmosphere where guests can shop or use the game room, lounge, food court, Shutter's Restaurant or the sparkling pool with water slides.

Island-themed guestrooms feature bright green armoires, striped bedspreads, and floral curtains. Amenities include dial-up Internet access, satellite televisions and personal safes.

Guests of the resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express Service. Motor coaches take guests from Orlando International Airport to the resort hotel. Disney also picks up and delivers guests' luggage to their selected accommodations. Guests of the resort may also take advantage of complimentary transportation to and from Disney theme parks, water parks and the Downtown Disney Area.

Located in the Epcot section of Disney World, the Caribbean Beach Resort brings you to the heart of all the action. Spread over 200 acres, it consists of five island villages that reflect the Caribbean culture. Each has its own pool or you could spend a day at the beach along the shores of the 45-acre lake. The bonus for staying on the resort grounds is that you can catch a ride on the bus to the all of the theme park attractions. Whether you stay in Trinidad, Martinique, Barbados, Jamaica or Aruba, the Caribbean Beach Resort is sure to make your dreams come true.

There are three location options for you to choose from. The 'Preferred' is located in Martinique and Trinidad North and is the closest to Old Port Royal. The 'Water View' gives you beautiful views of Barefoot Bay or the pool. The 'Standard View' provides views of the resort grounds. Most rooms throughout the complex come with double beds, although a few do offer king-size beds. And of course, you get the Disney Channel.

The fun keeps coming long after you leave the theme parks. Spend time at the Goombay Games Arcade or enjoy the great outdoors. Rent a pedal boat, bring the kids to Parrot Cay Playground or join in on a beach volleyball game. You can also make your way around the 1.4-mile jogging trail and yes, leisurely strollers can enjoy it as well! There are onsite laundry facilities, a food court and restaurant for you to use as well.

With rooms spread out through six, colorful, two-story buildings, the heartbeat of Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is Old Port Royale, located near the center. Stone walls, pirates’ cannons, and tropical birds and flowers create a Caribbean atmosphere where guests can shop or use the game room, lounge, food court, Shutter's restaurant, or the swimming pool with water slides. Room service (pizza and sandwich delivery) is offered from late afternoon until midnight

This hotel offers 2,112 guestrooms, all decorated with light-wood furniture and island prints, potted plants, and breezy curtains. Rooms offer various views and are air-conditioned. All have telephones with voice mail, refrigerators, and coffeemakers.

All guestrooms (including room patios and balconies) are nonsmoking.

Dining

Shutters , This casual, table-service restaurant features Caribbean-inspired specialties and tropical drinks such as tangerine margaritas and mango mojitos. Entrées range from an all-American prime rib to oven-roasted jerk chicken and teriyaki-marinated tofu stir-fry. Desserts include a French-toast bread pudding with caramelized roasted bananas and coconut ice cream. Dinner only.

Market Street Food Court , Perfect for families, this food court features four counter-service windows with everything from burgers and subs to cinnamon buns. The spacious dining room seats 500, and an outdoor patio is available. A Grab-N-Go Market is also available at this dining location.

Banana Cabana , This poolside bar, which is open most of the day, features frozen specialty drinks and other alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Light snacks are available.
