Virgin Atlantic’s Economy class aims to give maximum value for money. With an average seat pitch of 31", economy seats are designed to maximise legroom, so you'll have plenty of room to relax and stretch your limbs during your flight. New seats also have adjustable headrests and lumber supports!

INDIVIDUAL SEATBACK TV

Every seat has its own seatback TV with a choice of channels to keep everyone entertained throughout the flight. We're dedicated to bringing you the very latest movies, comedy, sports, drama and kids shows. On many of our flights each seat also comes with its own video games console with up to 35 games. And, rolling out across the fleet, is the very latest video on-demand, which means you can pause, fast forward or rewind, just like at home.

DELICIOUS FOOD AND DRINK

There is such a thing as a free lunch; we offer a free meal and free drinks on all our flights. You can forget the usual jokes about airline food, ours is delicious and with enough notice we can even tailor our catering for some specific dietary requirements that you may have i.e. Kosher, Vegetarian, Gluten-free, Medical Meals (These need to be booked through Special Assistance)

PREMIUM ECONOMY

Our newly enhanced dedicated Premium Economy cabin has been designed to give you plenty of personal space. It's a place where you can relax, stretch out and unwind. The Premium Economy seat is the biggest in its class with an increased seat width of 21 inches (equivalent to many other airlines' business class).

PREMIUM DINING

As soon as you're comfortable in your seat you'll be offered a preflight drink and from your menu you can choose one of three tempting meals, to be served on china dinnerware with stainless steel cutlery. You might choose to end with a liqueur and a selection of fresh fruit.

With ample leg room (the seat pitch is 38 inches) and an additional two degrees of recline, you can happily stretch out and notice the extra comfort. There is adjustable lumbar support, a flexible headrest and a new footrest to make your flight even more enjoyable. Combined with laptop power* and a redesigned table, the new Premium Economy seat is the perfect place in which to work or relax.
