Located directly on the beach, overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, in Naples, Florida, the hotel is close to fine restaurants, lively night spots, and upscale shopping. In addition the hotel is minutes from the heart of Old Naples, Fifth Avenue South, and Third Street South and Just 40 minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), 15 minutes from Naples Municipal Airport (APF).

On-site, the Edgewater courtyard and pool are set amid towering palms and hibiscus flowers. The fitness center offers an expansive ocean view, along with cardio and weight machines, towels, water, TV, and a massage treatment room. Bikes are available for rent by the hour.

The hotel offers over 3,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The executive boardroom, Hibiscus Rooms, and club rooms are located on the 6th floor, featuring views of the Gulf and old Naples. Other facilities include the Beach Cottage. Some meeting areas have high-speed Internet access (surcharges), and fax and copy services are available at the front desk.

Dining

Flippers, Shady snack bar with tiled bar and ceiling fans. Signature drinks include Midori Colada and Bananaramas. Open mid-morning to early evening.

The Fountain Cafe , Alfresco dining poolside in tropical courtyard under pink umbrellas. Continental breakfast served in the morning. Salads and sandwiches served for lunch. Selections include Gazpacho, an array of seafood salads, grilled veggie sandwiches, or Edgewater Hot Dogs. Open mornings until sunset.

Hotel Amenities

This Edgewater Beach Hotel & Club offers 126 suites on seven floors. All accommodations have private furnished balconies.

Separate bedrooms have adjoining baths with granite vanities, tiled flooring and tubs, large mirrors, and private-label bath products. Adjoining living rooms have queen sofa beds, reading chairs and ottomans, foyer cabinets with mirrors, coffee tables, accent furnishings, and armoires. Kitchens (no stove) with tile floors and granite-topped counters are equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, dishes, utensils, double stainless steel sinks, and dinette tables with four chairs.

Daily housekeeping services include dishwashing. Other amenities include CD players and video games. High-speed Internet access is available (surcharge).

Designed by Rees Jones, the Naples Grande Golf Club is exclusive to the guests of The Edgewater Beach Hotel and Club and the Naples Grande Resort & Club. The 250-acre tract features a 30-acre lake, indigenous old growth cypress and pine trees; meandering waterways, and a brook. There is an on-site professional golf academy, as well as a clubhouse with pro shop, dining area, and locker rooms. The club is four miles from the hotel (surcharge).

The Naples Grande Resort & Club offers Edgewater guests reciprocal signing privileges, and guest discounts may be available. The Naples Grande Resort facilities include a 5,500-square-foot Health Club and Spa. The fitness area includes cardio and strength-training equipment, free weights, exercise balls, and mats. Water aerobics, yoga, and Pilates are offered as well. The spa offers several treatments, including facials, therapeutic massage, the Vitamin C Antioxidant Facial, men's facials, and body bronzing treatments. Locker rooms feature aromatherapy saunas, steam rooms, tiled showers, and personal care amenities (surcharges).

The Naples Grande Resort also houses a tennis center with 15 Har-Tru courts. The center offers daily tennis clinics, matchmaking service through the Tennis Concierge, tournaments, and a summer kid's camp (surcharges).
